Determined to Lead (DTL)

Determined to Lead (DTL) is a monthly lunch series designed to center women in the energy sector and beyond.

About

Determined to Lead (DTL) Membership

Every month since 2024, we have invited women in the Energy Transition field to share their in-depth knowledge through technical presentations and stories of real-life experiences that can benefit women in their career journeys.

The DTL membership community is built to accelerate women into positions of influence within the energy sector. We build strategic alliances, amplify voices, and create pathways to leadership that drive the energy transition forward. We build authentic connections, provide access to hard-to-reach resources, and advocate strategically to ensure women hold decision-making power in energy transformation.

The aim is to position women in leadership roles, serve on boards, and actively participate in shaping the industry's trajectory through informed decision-making. The DTL membership will provide women with a vibrant space to foster meaningful relationships and advance their professional growth in the modern workplace. With a focus on energy technology and decarbonization, we welcome trailblazers from across industries and at various stages of their professional journey.

Mission

Our Mission

At DTL we build authentic connections and purposeful community among women in energy. Through leadership development, strategic advocacy, exclusive resource access, and targeted upskilling, we create pathways for women to drive the critical decisions shaping our energy future.

The DTL Membership offers a unique platform for women leaders to:

  • Share their technical expertise and learn from one another
  • Network with peers and industry leaders.
  • Skill building and personal development for the energy transition
  • Mentor and be mentored by peers and professionals
  • Share opportunities with each other.

This initiative is a community-building opportunity that drives both personal and professional growth for women. Through shared experiences and insights, attendees help shape the future of clean energy and decarbonization.

Value

Our Value

We do not simply network, we share our technical expertise. Women bring invaluable perspectives to the energy sector, and yet their representation in leadership roles remains limited.

The DTL Program is designed to create meaningful momentum for women in energy by building skills and confidence in key areas of leadership. It promotes women's thought leadership in clean energy, supports career transitions—including pivots and entrepreneurial launches—and advocates for greater presence in boardrooms and executive decision-making. Through workshops, coaching, accountability, and community, DTL helps women take intentional steps toward their professional and personal goals.
